The coaching cabin is a space for you to do your best thinking. You bring your personal and professional challenges and, using conversational tools, we work together to help you move forward into a happier, healthier, more productive place.
I also deliver coaching skills training - from stand alone workshops to year-long training programmes - we can design a package that works for your team.
Wondering if coaching is right for you? Why not book a FREE telephone consultation to talk it through?
What do you need?
Coaching usually takes place in person at my home in Old Welwyn, Hertfordshire. I also work via Skype, Zoom or telephone if preferred. Enjoy a walk and talk? We can coach on the move, exploring a range of local beauty spots as we go.
Developmental coaching - I work with clients on a variety of work-life issues including: new business ventures, redundancy, promotions, bereavement, life after serious illness, weight loss, family dynamics, general stress and anxiety. You can expect to feel more confident, competent and resilient in your personal and/or professional life by the end of our coaching journey.
Academic Coaching - helping students of all ages get more from their learning (self- and time management, exams and revision, research, academic writing and specific learning differences).
In an ideal world, everyone would have access to a personal and professional coach. A more economical and sustainable solution is to train your teams to coach each other. Find out more about developing a coaching culture in your workplace.

What people say
"I can't believe how quickly you summarised me and got it spot on...I've never thought about it like that before but you're spot on"
"Each of my sessions has given me more confidence and motivation than I ever thought they would. I love the way my coach always has a positive take on something I saw as negative. I have learnt to not see that past as wasted time but as part of a bigger picture."

After starting a family, I moved into academic development, working with students and staff on all aspects of learning.
In 2014, I undertook several coaching courses and was completely sold on the idea that people grow and develop through support and coaching rather than direction or telling.
In February 2017, I left university teaching to set up my own coaching business and the rest as they say is history...
